“My passion as a child was making glorious cakes and treats that would bring joy and love to my friends and family. Ironically I also knew from a very young age that I wanted to work with health foods. Unfortunately, my love for unhealthy cakes and my love for health foods was not a match made in heaven. Little did I know what was in store for me all those years later…..
After a sun drenched trip to California in 2008, where raw and healthy foods are abundant, I was in food heaven. There were delicious ready-made treats and puddings that were all natural and tasty too. I dreamed that one day we too could have this in the UK.
I created my range of snacks because I find it difficult to eat healthily whilst I am out of the house. There has been many an occasion when I have been caught out and I ended up eating something that I didn’t really want. When you start eating raw foods which are unprocessed and all natural you begin to realise how little of the food you can actually eat whilst you are out of the house. I used to struggle to consistently prepare a lunch box and to be organised enough to take food with me. Sometimes I wanted to eat something healthy but have the hard work done for me.
After many years, I realised that I would have to create a business to do just that. My treats have done the hard work for you as they are all ready to go. You can be prepared for all occasions, and never be stuck without a snack to tide you over between meals. So at least you know that no matter what, you will never have to eat foods that you don’t want to.
My little snacks are close to my heart because I eat them everyday and I attribute these to why I am able to consistently maintain a healthy diet and be the weight that I want to be. I have a sweet tooth and without my treats I would feel deprived. Just because I follow a healthy diet does not mean that I should give up treats!
I always carry a few of my treats on me, and nearly every day, there’s a time when I am very glad I’ve got them. Sometimes there’s a Birthday at the office, and I want to feel part of the celebration without filling my body with refined sugar and worse. I snack on a couple of treats and I feel satisfied. Sometimes I’m tired or bored and I just want something to nibble on without feeling guilty afterwards. Sometimes I get delayed and miss a meal and my snacks keep me going. Sometimes I’m just so busy and I don’t have time to prepare a meal, so I want to grab something filling, tasty and healthy.
There are so many useful occasions where Charlie’s Raw Treats come in handy, they will become so much part of your life and you will wonder how you lived without them. Take a look at some of the ways that you can enjoy my treats. When you are craving something delicious, you can eat Charlie’s Raw Treats without guilt, fear or shame.
